Busby and Fox takes space at Farnham’s Lion & Lamb Yard

A private property company, advised by Curchod & Co and DMA, has let a prime retail unit in Farnham, Surrey, to independent women’s clothing brand Busby and Fox. The 1,212 sq ft ground floor shop at 4 Lion & Lamb Yard was secured on a new five-year lease at an annual rent of £52,500.

Matthew Munday of Curchod & Co commented on the lease, saying, “Busby and Fox’s decision to open their eighth store in the South East and West of the UK at the Lion & Lamb Yard is a perfect match for Farnham and this unique retail environment. The brand’s independent and distinctive clothing collection aligns seamlessly with local shoppers and highlights the Lion & Lamb Yard’s reputation as a destination for quality and individuality.

“Since it was established in 2016, Busby and Fox has shown remarkable growth, and its expansion into Farnham is a testament to the strength and appeal of the town’s retail offering.”

Situated in a coveted location near Waitrose supermarket and Waterstones Bookshop, the Lion & Lamb Yard is an award-winning retail destination that seamlessly connects The Borough and West Street with key amenities. The scheme hosts a mix of major retailers and boutique shops, such as Waterstones, Cote Restaurant, Starbucks, and Neals Yard Remedies, making it a bustling hub for both shoppers and retailers alike.

This latest letting highlights the attractiveness of Lion & Lamb Yard as a premier shopping and retail location in Farnham, continuing to draw a diverse range of tenants and customers.
